Distrowatch Hit Ratings

Post by viking777 »

OK, so they mean nothing much at all but have you looked at them recently?

Mint has been top of the hit ratings for ages.

Last 6 months 1000 hpd (hits per day) more than second place ubuntu
Last 3 months 2100 hpd more than ubuntu
Last 1 month 2200 hpd more than ubuntu
Last 7 days 2400 hpd more than ubuntu

(all figures approximate)

You have to go back to 2010 to find a time when Ubuntu was in front of Mint!

So what is next? Canonical launch a hostile takeover bid for Linux Mint? (Where do you buy Linux Mint shares from anyway  )

Or Clem is the next self funded internet entrepreneur in the International Space Station :D

Anyone fancy a game of 'Unity'

Oops.

PS. No wonder the forum is so damn slow nowadays :(

:x :x

Yes, perhaps Mint could invest some time into fixing this "slowest on the web" forum response.
This is an age old problem, that seems to get addressed only to bog down again a month later.
Certainly there must be a permanent fix.
