Pretty simple. Just tell us the specs of the oldest Linux machine that you own. I'll start.
Mine is a Dell Dimension 4500.
Pentium 4 2Ghz
773MB DDR2 RAM
ATi Rage 128 32mb video card
Belkin F7D1101 v1 Wireless USB Adapter
80GB HDD
All this runs Linux Mint Debian Edition with the XFCE desktop. This thing is pretty fast, as long as I don't put it under much load. It's good for web browsing with Iceweasel. It even performs this function better than it did when it ran XP. I also use it to route my wireless internet to my 360 via an ethernet cable.
What are the specs of your oldest Linux machine?

Mint 9 LXDE running on a Dell Inspiron 8100 (from about 2001)
Intel Pentium III
1.2 GHz clock
512 MB ddr1 PC-2100
40 GB HDD
Stripped down version of LXDE used just mostly as internet browser. Runs well. Fairly quick compared to Windows XP that was installed when I got the unit.

9 Year old HP
Intel Celeron "2.8" Ghz(what it says, but clearly the old clocking benchmark, more like 800Mhz or less)
30GB Harddrive
512 MB RAM
(Refurbed for my 2 year old and loaded with educational software)
