Hallo.
Ich habe derzeit eine 160 GB Festplatte mit dem Dualboot Windows Vista und Mint 7.
Nun möchte ich gerne eine neue, größere Festplatte einbauen und auf diese gerne ausschließlich mein prima nach meine Wünschen eingestelltes und allen von mir benötigten Programmen ausgestattetes Mint Gloria kopieren, sodass ich also letztlich eine größere Festplatte mit Mint als einzigem Betriebssystem habe.
Die komplette Neuinstallation von Mint würde ich nur als letzten Schritt wählen, da es natürlich komfortabler wäre, das "Fixundfertig"-System einfach auf die neue Platte zu kopieren.
Gibt es für mein Vorhaben eine einfache Möglichkeit? Und welches Programm bräuchte ich für mein Vorhaben?

Vielleicht kanst Du partimage vervenden
Mach ein "ghost image" von Mint in der Windows partition und es ist möglich dieser ghost image auf der nue Festplatte zu überführen
Es muss naturlicherweise platz dafür sein in windows partition
Erinnere mich nicht ob partimage ein grössere partition verwenden kann oder ob es derselbe grösse bekommt - und danach gparted vergrösseren kann

Ist das Programm auch als Live-CD zu verwenden und dann nur die Mint Partition 1:1 auf die neue Festplatte (extern) über USB-Anschluss zu kopieren? Diese würde ich dann nach erfolgter Kopie in mein Notebook einsetzen.

Would it also be possible to use this program as a live-cd and create a 1:1-Copy (only of the mint partition) onto the new blank harddrive, wich i would connect to my notebook via usb? After finishing the progress i would change the hardrive from usb-connection into the notebook as main drive. Would this be a possible way?

Es kann von der Live CD verwendet werden, aber man kan mit partimage nicht 1:1 kopieren
Vielleicht mit dd....
