[Solucionado] Sin Wifi en el Asus Eee 900

Hola a todos.
He instalado Linux Mint en un Asus Eee 900 y entre otros muchísimos problemas me encuentro con que el Wifi no funciona... he seguido las instrucciones al respecto en http://www.hnkweb.com/2008/05/16/instal ... ee-pc-900/ –pensando que la solución sería la misma– pero nada.
iwconfig muestra lo siguiente:
Además, si pulso el botón de encender el Wifi (Fn + F2) no pasa nada (no se enciende el led de estado).
¿Qué podría hacer para averiguar lo que ocurre?

y lspci no muestra la tarjeta inalámbrica...lo no wireless extensions.
