linux mint debian有谁用过了？

我没有用过debian，用过ubuntu，我想了解其中文支持如何，能不能像ubuntu那样，点点鼠标就搞定，不需要手动编辑什么配置文件之类的？

或者，用过的前辈们怎么也不分享一点自己的经验呢？难道每个人感兴趣的人都必须要下载800多M的文件进行试用吗？

或者说，为什么选择linux mint debian 而不直接选择debian呢？

我在用，只要你在安装的时候选择的是中文，安装完了基本都是中文了，安装的时候最好连接着网络。
基本不需要手动配置什么的，启动速度，程序运行速度都要比ubuntu kui

你好，我最近就在使用mint ，总体感觉不错，但也有不少问题存在，最大的就是最近在升级之后我的触模板和键盘已经失灵，并且暂时没有找到适合的解决办法，也许因为我使用的是上网本。至于语言支持，如果你安装的中文，他仅会在部分菜单或桌面显示中文，至于网页浏览已经系统设置全部是乱码，所以希望要以管理员身份添加中文字体。软件升级，个人认为大多数版本能提供及时最新的下载于更新，而且操作也更简易。对于linux我是菜鸟，对于某些命令利于apt-add不太了解，但是在mint里我无法使用，也希望大家共同交流！

之所以选择Linux Mint Debian Edition，而不是Debian，就像有人选择Linux Mint 10而不是Ubuntu 10.10一样，各有各的原因吧
个人没有用过Debian，但是LMDE给我的感觉就是，界面很漂亮，安装和操作也很简单。像是集linux/mac/win三方之长，至少，LM的团队是认真地思考过如何让用户获得一个人性易用的发行版的。
除了可以不用重装（LMDE是平滑升级，没有版本号的），相比Ubuntu，包括我之前用的Fedora，系统的速度有了较大的提升

我用linuxmint 13 mate，32bit, 有一個bug, 就係套件管理員會開唔到， 依家轉用linuxmint 13 debian 32bit, 暫時無呢個問題，再觀察中

I upgrade from an earlier version and now even ibus is not working properly: i.e. I cannot type any CJK / Chinese character in this (LMDE) environment.
ibus (I've used it before) can start but there is no input method option, and any effort to add input methods cannot be saved.
Can someone help me?

I've installed gcin, rebooted and now I can only run gcin-tools. Shortcuts like Ctrl-Space etc have no effect to active CH input system.
Please, really want to have either ibus or gcin working. x____x'''
