Empty Mint Menu after Boot up

Postby Hatschi78 on Sun Jul 31, 2011 7:04 am

After every Boot up my Mint Menu is shown empty at first attempt to open it. Here is a Screenshot to illustrate: Image

If i reopen it after the first attempt everything is fine until next reboot.
Any suggestions?

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

I just recently had the same problem and found a solution that worked for me.
Under the mintmenu Preferences (right click MENU), on the OPTIONS tab make sure the Opacity is set to 100%. Mine was set to 98% and I was getting the empty menu on the first use just after startup.

I hope this fixes you issue.
