Small Issue after Remaster [Solved]

Postby jasmac on Fri May 02, 2008 10:38 am

Hello everyone, I have a small issue that I was hoping that someone may be able to help with. I remastered my system, as I now have it the way I like it, and everything went swimmingly, except for the one small issue of course. When starting the system, just before it get to the login screen, the following error appears: There was an error loading the theme Human: Can't open file \usr\share\gdm\themes\Human\Human.xml.
I have looked for the files and they are indeed missing. I have tried using a different theme with no affect, the same error comes up everytime. Due to the way the proxy I go through at the moment works I am unable to use apt through the package manager or the command line, so I am unable to reinstall the theme. This is only a small inconvenience because I can still use my system fine and everything works. Still if anyone can give some advice on how to either stop the error from coming up or an alternative to reloading the human theme it would be appreciated. TIA.

Jason

Due to the many issues with gdm changes casugin problem with livecd user creation I changed remastersys to use the factory gdm.conf file that is shipped. Factory Ubuntu gdm.conf has the normal human theme.

If you are using mint and it is different, then copy the /etc/gdm/gdm.conf file over to /etc/gdm/factory-gdm.conf and then run remastersys again.
