(Solved) - Problem with installing from Live CD

I made a remaster of Mint 5 Elyssa, but when I go to install it the installer will just disappear at 94% I believe this is when it trys to install Grub. I tried this on several computes and a VM. No luck. I've run remaster again, still no. Any ideas what might be causing this?

edit: The installer isn't creating /boot/grub/ so any ideas what could be keeping this from being created?

Do you have a complicated partition structure?
An which installer is being used?
I know of course what Remastersys is but I have not used it so I'm not familiar with it
The installer (Ubiquty) in Elyssa has a bug that prevents it from creating grub under certain circumstances, so if that's the one.....

Not really a complicated structure lol. Its in a VM with a single 16 GB hdd with one partition. The installer is Ubiquty.

I managed to work around the problem but I'm not sure what caused it. Be nice to know so it doesn't happen again. But not vital now.

It was a completely new Virtual machine. Completely blank virtual disk, I just checked use entire disk as I've always done in virtual machines. And yes Elyssa's Ubiquty.
