Remastersys error message

Postby lowen on Mon Jun 30, 2008 9:55 pm

I went thru 394 posts and didn't find the answer I need . I down loaded Romeo in synaptic and tried to install remastersys, it gave me an error message that says "mkisofs dependensies not available . I tried looking for mkisofs in synaptic , and when I didn't find it I tried the Mint forum with no luck . I then tried Google , but I didn't understand what they were trying to tell me . I was clicking around and something came up that said it was not an active program . HELP , I am a newbie to Mint and don't know what to do next ? I use Remastersys on my Ubuntu machine and I just love it , its my favorite program , no more long hours of keying trying to get back to where I was before something happened . If some one could help me , it would be much apreciated . Thanks LOWEN

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.
