Postby mobrocket on Tue Jul 10, 2012 8:21 am

After installing Windows 8 RC, i am unable to install or even boot from a USB/DVD linux mint except in compatiablity mode.

Please help, i know that MSFT was planning on changing things to make it no possible to boot linux, but i didnt think it actually happened. Please let me know what i need to do, i tried to reset my bios on my mobo, but that didnt help either

Did Windows 8 screw the partition table somehow? Windows used to confuse partition table, because it does not recognize linux swap properly.
