Save changes made in home folder?

Postby caz on Sat Jan 05, 2013 10:40 am

I'm moving a lot of Gimp related stuff over from Vista to Mint and have found that if I click on View, then tick 'Shown hidden files' and 'Extra Pane', and after that click on the HDD icon then the Vista files where all my Gimp stuff lives are displayed.
What I have not been able to do is save the home folder so that after closing and reopening it the above set-up/view is still there. Any ideas how, and if, this can be done? I've had a Google around but no luck yet with finding an answer.

Cheers.
