Mysterious Addition to GRUB

Postby Cambo105 on Sun Mar 02, 2008 6:33 pm

Today upon booting Mint, I found a new addition to my grub, I don't recall the exact wording but it was Memtest. Is this an indication of some sort of error with my memory or is there some way to explain this? The only recent change I made was installing lmsensors with "apt get".

You did not find something new - memtest is installed by all (?) distros
You've just not seen it before

I hate to think that I am that oblivious, I could swear that it was not in my Grub until today. But I guess it is a real possibility.
