I just installed Mint 12 and wanted to play around with some stuff and i came across a guide to "embed" a terminal into your desktop for ubuntu, and since I read it pretty much the same OS, then i gave it a go.

Everything works fine, but I still have the frame around the transparent window, and I have no idea how to make it disappear. Been roaming google and these forums, but to no avail.
If you need additional information just ask and I will post it.
