Can't run eclipse (linux version) executable file on lisa

Can't run eclipse (linux version) executable file on lisa

Hello,

I've just installed the linuxmint 12 (lisa).
And then download eclipse indigo (linux version) from the site, but I can't open the executable file, it says that 'no application available to open "executable"'
Any clues??

What is the file extension? If it is .exe it isn't a linux version.
