I'm trying to merge video files. What options are there in linux mint? What file formats are best for merging?
(I am running linux mint 12 and have 3GB of RAM).

Hello giraffes_rule. I think a really nice option is openshot: is easy to use and fast, have a nice GUI and can handle many formats http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FFmpeg#Formats. Regards!
