I am rather unfamiliar with gnome and would like to bind either the Ctl+Alt+Delete key combo or the Ctl+Esc key combo to open the System Monitor for process control. How is this done in Gnome?
Thanks,
Xipher

This is supposed to work - but it does not for me, probably because I don't use metacity but compiz
- Code: Select all
/apps/metacity/global_keybindings/run_command_9 "<Control><Alt>Delete"
gconftool-2 -t str --set /apps/metacity/keybinding_commands/command_9 "gnome-system-monitor"

Don't fix it if it ain't broken, don't break it if you can't fix it
