Disappearing applications ??????

Disappearing applications ??????

Please help me, im new to linux and i have a problem. When i minimise an application it just completely disappears and i cannot see it on the bottom panel, but if i alt - tab its still running, what have i done and how do i solve this problem. Many thanks in advance.

Maybe you accidentally deleted the Window List or some other applet is blocking it like its between two other things you have on the panel. If you can't find it, right-click on panel, add to panel, and select "Window List"
