I would like to have a password at startup, can someone please talk me thru it in lamens terms. I have read thru the forum and can make no sense of it at all. I am running Linux Mint Maya just installed it today.

go to the menu and select administration then select users and groups where it says password click the change button then make sure the don't ask for password at login is box is unselected.
