Problem trying to add repository

Hi,

Never used any linux flavour before but just giving mint a go. So far so good, I really like it.

Still playing with it but I'm having a problem. I'm trying to add a repository so I can download a version of sabnzdb. I've followed the instructions I found which says stuff like:

Code: Select all

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:jcfp/ppa

then

Code: Select all

sudo apt-get update

but I still can't find the package when I look in synaptic package manager or software manager ... have I missed something?

I think you are searching for the wrong thing. In your post you said you want to install "sabnzdb", but it is correctly spelled "sabnzbd". You switched the b and d.
