VLC Issues With PulseAudio

Postby cg2916 on Fri Jul 27, 2012 7:05 pm

I messed around a little bit with PulseAudio, and now VLC is having issues. Whenever I pause a video and hit play, it takes 15 seconds or more for the audio to come back on. However, if I change "PulseAudio server" to "Playback/Recording through the PulseAudio server", or vice versa (I switch to the one I'm not using), it comes right back on. How do I make it so I don't have to do this every time?

Check to see if -> vlc-plugin-pulse <- is installed in Synaptic. If not, install it.
