DIsabling Mint Google

Postby o-martin on Wed Apr 09, 2008 7:51 pm

How can I disable the unfuntional Mint Google ? I mean, I want the standard google page, with the image seeker (and the other functions) and without Mint logo, etc.

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

Install, restart FF, then go to Google homepage, right click on the search place (on the Google website), hit "Add to Search Bar", name it google1 or whatever you want. Select this new search thing from the search bar the same way you switch between google, wikipedia, imdb, etc.
The default Mint search does create revenue so try to use the regular Google only when necessary.
Cheers.
