Delete ley does not delete characters

Hi.

Running Linux Mint 14 Nadia (GNU/Linux 3.5.0-17-generic x86_64) - Cinnamon

I don't know what I've done, but somehow, my Delete key does not delete characters. This is very annoying.
The only thing I remember doing, was editing the keyboard settings (Preferences -> Cinnamon Settings -> Keyboard) and deleting all preferences with the Super key in them, as they wrecked havoc when I tried to remote access my machine from a Mac Os X (issues with the Apple keyboard). But those settings should only affect window shortcuts etc.. Maybe I somehow mapped the Delete key to something else? But it doesen't seem that way. I didn't see any setting involving the Delete key, and nothing Window-related seems to happen when I press it.

So, Is there any way to reset ALL keyboard settings to default values?
