Hanging up on Creating Image Checksum

I tried to burn a dvd of ophcrackand I am using the native cd dvd burnier. It is stuck on creating image check sum and has been so for at least 10 minutes. Ideas? I am running Mint 13 Cinnamon 64bit.

I think I saw a similar post yesterday about burning software hanging. Did you give up on the default software included with the distro and install K3b? K3b works, Brasero doesn't. Don't take my word as the truth, test it for yourself.
