but as soon as I click Start Limnux Mint, it goes to this black screen with this error message at the bottom
PANIC :- early exception and then lots of numbers..

anyone can help me?

now to what I am running.. currently running a windows 7 x64 bit system
download Linus Mint x64 and burn to a CD and trying to run it on my VMstation
to give it a trial run..

so thats it, Thank you in advance

Perhaps you might have better luck with VirtualBox itself. (I've never heard of "VMstation". Do you mean "VMware Workstation?)

oops. my bad.. yes, I meant Vmworkstation..

well considering I find VM works better as a emulator in general, I would preferred it if I
can avoid the need to use virtual box for this..

thank you.

I use VMware Workstation all the time and I have never had a problem with Linux guests. What version of VMware Workstation are you running?

I have uploaded two pics..

one shows the version of my VM station

the other shows the error I encountered..

p.s :- U might want to scroll down the black pic to see the error message at the bottom..

Your version of VMware Workstation may simply be too old to run Mint 14. The 64-bit version of Mint 14 boots without that error on my copy of VMware Workstation 8 (also on a 64-bit Windows 7 host).
