[SOLVED] Change Search Engine URL Mint14

Postby Laoyumi on Tue Dec 11, 2012 3:06 am

I added Google to the search engines. Am using English as language, so the google URL is google.com also in English. Here in China Google is pretty much unusable, but google.de works.
How can I change the URL von google.com to google.de? Guess, I have to edit some file.

Michael

Found it myself!
Open /home/username/.mozilla/firefox/mwad0hks.default/search.json with the text editor. Search for "google.com" and replace it with "google.de". Save and restart Firefox.
