I'm sure this has been covered before ....

I'm sure this has been covered before, but I was unable to locate exactly what I'm looking for.

I'm running Daryna on my laptop and would like to be able to create a bootable backup of my installation complete with all the new settings, packages, patches and so on, to a DVD. I can back up my data files else where.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in Advance!

Look at remastersys in the wiki, never used it so can't help you with that :)

That is exactly what you need. It will make a (installable) live CD of your current install. It is the best backup method in my opinion.

I can agree with that,.... if.... it will fit on a cd or dvd.

Now that you mention it, I have never gotten it to fit on a CD. It will most likely make a DVD backup of your currently installed system :D
