I'm sure this has been covered before, but I was unable to locate exactly what I'm looking for.
I'm running Daryna on my laptop and would like to be able to create a bootable backup of my installation complete with all the new settings, packages, patches and so on, to a DVD. I can back up my data files else where.
Any suggestions?

Look at remastersys in the wiki, never used it so can't help you with that

That is exactly what you need. It will make a (installable) live CD of your current install. It is the best backup method in my opinion.

Now that you mention it, I have never gotten it to fit on a CD. It will most likely make a DVD backup of your currently installed system
