can i install mate and cinnamon?

can i install mate and cinnamon?
i have mate installed on my old laptop this replaced xp.. but i kinda like cinnamon, can i install both or do i need to install the whole OS? i dont have a large HDD so cant really have 2 OS on the pc, but are desktops different and smaller? i want to try cinnamon it looks hot.

No, there's no need to install both Mint versions. You can install the MATE desktop beside the Cinnamon desktop. At the login screen you can choose whether you want MATE or Cinnamon.

cool thanks for that, im guessing headding over to software manager and it will have instructions for that.. so i can download it.
