Rotating Cubes etc on Mint 14

[beginner]

I watched this tutorial on how to do this but I can't seem to find some of the options in my compiz manager, such as rotating cube(or sth like that, i forgot). All I want is to have a rotating desktop. all of the tutorials are for mint 13 so i believe it's a conflict of version, so how can I resolve this and have a cool desktop?
