Linux Mint LTS?

Postby KenWeiLL on Sun May 11, 2008 10:14 am

Linux Mint is based on Ubuntu, right?
And Linux Mint 5 is going to be based in Ubuntu 8.04 LTS, right?
So is Linux Mint 5 going to be LTS as well?

Im new in Linux Mint. Coming from Ubuntu. I always got problems regarding Monitor detection with Ubuntu. But when I tried Linux Mint 4, after installing my NVIDIA restricted drivers, Monitor was automatically configured as well. In Ubuntu, i only got 800x600 resolution maximum. But in Linux Mint, i get 1024x768, which is great.
