Gnome Cinnamon

Postby eipapp on Thu Jan 24, 2013 4:26 pm

I'm currently running Mint 14 Cinnamon. I've used Gnome 3 before on Mint 13 so wanted to take it out for a spin, however, I'm not getting the usual Gnome 3 affects I'm used to, for example, when I depress the Windows Key nothing happens. Is something missing from the installation, has it been changed, what haps ??
Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Bruce

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

Cinnamon is a shell on top of Gnome 3, just as Gnome Shell is. So I'm a bit confused what you mean that you have used Gnome 3, but I think you mean Gnome Shell. This topic has some notes on what to do to get Gnome Shell working fully: viewtopic.php?f=208&t=117580. Read it till the end for full details.
