First, click on the link below.

Then, follow this steps:

1. Click the "Add to Firefox" button (to begin using the search engine immediately after you add it, click "Start using it right away")
2. Click "Add" button

The search engine is now available through the search engines list in the Search bar.

IMHO, the section "Other search engines" is nonsense, at least if there is not a link like the one you gave me. I have normally no problems in installing search engines for firefox. So Linux Mint must have done something peculiar with installing search engines for firefox.
