I have just installed Linux Mint Cinnamon 14.1 on my desktop computer. I can login with the password I set in the login screen, but when I want to install a new package or use sudo that password won't work. What may be the cause?

Nevermind, I think there's some stupid(of me) typo. I'll try and change the password.
