Cinnemon Menu Settings Button hidden by Menu Mouseover

After reading the Linux Mint User Guide, I right-clicked the Menu button and went into Menu Settings, and clicked the check box allowing the Menu to pop up with only a mouseover rather than with a mouse click. I decided I don't like that action, as everything else on the bottom bar works like I'm used to with a mouse click. However I can't get back into the Menu Settings to change it back, because everytime I move the cursor up to click on Menu Settings, the Menu pops back up in the way. Both Edit Menu and Menu Settings can be seen with a right click on the Menu button, but you simply can't get the cursor to them to click them before the Menu pops back up as you start to move the cursor. Is there another way to get in there? Thanks.

Open Menu > Preferences > Cinnamon Settings > Menu
There you can uncheck "Activate menu on hover".

In LM14 Cinnamon, you could also get there by clicking the small up arrow on the panel (on the right side), click Settings > Menu.
