I'm a formerly long-time windoze user who has recently come over to LMDE. While the default keyboard layout options are fairly comprehensive, I'd like to remap the numlock to the (absent from my laptop) calculator key. This should be easy, right? Xev shows me that my numlock is 77, so something like 'sudo xmodmap -e "keycode 77 = XF86Calculator"' (or 148 XF86Calculator) would seem to be enough. But it isn't. I can't use xev to find the correct code, because I don't have the key to press.
If someone with some actual LMDE knowledge could help me out, I'd really appreciate it.
