I installed Linux Mint 14 yesterday and the internet was working 100% fine. (on another internet connection)

Today I am at another house and the internet will not work. I have connected and it says it''s working but it isn't. I cannot connect to the internet on Chrome.
Just This Webpage is not available.

Internet works on another laptop and on my iPod, but not on my Laptop running Linux Mint.

Please help. I did restart the modem.

I am doing wireless network.

Again, it worked fine yesterday on my other internet, but it's not working here... I haven't installed updates yet because I didn't have much time to use it yesterday, but I went and downloaded Firefox and tested Minecraft yesterday for about 5 minutes. I turned it on today, on my other internet at a different house and connected to the internet. It shows working, but I can't connect to Chrome or Minecraft

Try a different web browser on Linux Mint (e.g. Firefox) and open up a different web page.

Try a different web browser on Linux Mint (e.g. Firefox) and open up a different web page.

I did try on Firefox. I also tried Minecraft and it could not connect to the servers.

I realized that installing Linux without Windows was a major mistake because of all the problems I've been occuring. I just installed Windows 7 after I couldn't figure out the internet issue and will dual boot mint soon and see what happens.
