@bb333: Yes, I'm not adverse to making a silk purse out of a sow's ear if it doesn't take more time and resources than just making a silk purse in the first place would. So perhaps it's not a good idea. As for the LMDE updates killing it, they've already killed my broadcom 43xx fix once, so I'm starting to see how this can be a problem.

This seems deceptively human-readable: I'm not connected to the Ubuntu One network, I'm not a user in their network, I'm in some kind of queue, but it's idle, because I'm from the wrong side of the tracks and have been ostracized. Perhaps it is not meant to be.
