cinnamon on aspire one 751H

well i broke my dang dell and now im using this aspire one netbook 751H.its dual-booted with windows 8 32bit and mint 13 cinnamon 32bit.
its a cute 1.3ghz dual-core processor with 2gb ram.the video card says VGA compatible with a 1366x768 HD res.
my problem is that i cant get cinnamon to work just gnome.any help would be appreciated.

Intel GMA 500 graphics chipset = no linux video driver ever. What you have is all you can get.


For the future, avoid anything intel atom branded. If you noticed, the chip can't even do 64bit.
