I want to automount a NTFS partition on startup. The last time I tried it, I tried on Ubuntu. I managed to do it, but at the expense of having that partition emptied. I really don't know how it happened. I want to do it right this time, without having to lose data. Could you please guide me through the process?
You can follow the steps listed here, but paying extra mind to the fact that it's a ntfs partition. There won't be any loss of data. The only reason I could see that happening is if you formatted the drive.
