Well, I guess I really boxed myself into a corner. I was trying to get the wireless drivers installed on my dell inspiron laptop and I somehow lost my wired connection.. ifconfig shows only the loopback.
b34-fwcutter worked perfectly on this LT abut a year ago when I was trying ubuntu. anyone know how I can get my connection back?
Linuxmint Mate 14.1 32bit 3.5.0-17-generic
Edit: I went ahead and reinstalled mint so it's moot now.
