Deleted your earlier duplicate topic. You can edit you post if you want to change it, see the edit button in the top right of your post.

Default partitioning is a / partition and a swap partition. The swap partition will be a logical partition inside an extended partition (which will be created if your system doesn't have an extended partition yet). The / partition is made a primary partition if that is possible, else it will also be a logical partition inside the same extended partition.
