Superkaramba is not working right in Mint 5, that is, it's ruunning and the blue ball is in the system tray but the themes do not appear on the desktop. I have a dual-core monitor that runs perfectly in Mint 4 KDE but nothing happens in Elyssa.
Well, i'm not saying there's no way to run superKaramba in Elyssa, but since it is gnome, i think there are good alternatives that'll integrate better. I think it is called gDesklets, but i'm a KDE guy ( ) so somebody has to confirm this.
