This morning I switched from Windows to Linux on my laptop. I installed everything without any errors, used it for a while, but when I pressed a function key which raised brightness, it got a black screen. I thought it was nothing, but when I tried to switch my screen to a projector, it crashed again, and now, when I get to the GRUB menu and try to boot, I get a blackscreen. I tried safe mode boot, but that didn't work either. Then, I tried to boot from my live USB, but it freezes every time it boots there (at the screen with the logo and the five dots).
I need help ASAP, because I need my laptop for work tomorrow.
Also, I didn't install any drivers, neither for the keyboard or graphics.

FIXED IT: just installed Ubuntu.
