Hi,
I am trying to install qtstalker 0.36 onto linux mint 14 but have a lot of difficulties as I am absolute newbie in Linux. I found page with guidence how to install it, but there are things there which are still not clear to me where to go and how to do it. Here is the line which creates me most problems:
"Ensure that your shell QTDIR environment variable is set to point to the location of the root Qt directory. This setting is usually something like this: 'export QTDIR=/usr/lib/qt' or something similar to this. Failure to set this properly will result in make errors."
So where I am supposed to go exactly to set my QTDIR environment variable to that location? Where I can find QTDIR variable? In what folder it is?
Did anyone install qtstalker onto Linux Mint 14? Can you provide step by step instruction (something more in line with "Installation of qtstalker for dummies")?
Thanks!

I have not installed qtstalker but that program (version 0.32-3) is included in Mint repositories.

Try this command:

Code: Select all

sudo apt-get install qtstalker
