skype webcam

Hello! I'm using Linux Mint 14 Nadia on my Acer M5-481TG and like everybody else I'm having the dark webcam problem on skype. I tried a lot of tutorials and nothing works . I have installed v4l2ucp and if I setup the camera from there it works, no dark webcam image anymore but it is not permanent (a couple of minutes then I have to setup it again). Please help, I use skype a lot. Thanks.
