about new versions of google chrome

hey i jus wanted to know something before downloadind chrome. If i download the .deb file from chromes official website and install it via the the deb installer, would i get the latest updates and newer versions of chrome in the near future?? or there is another way to always have the latest version of chrome ?

When you install that .deb package it also created an entry in your sources.list file.
This means that from then on, chrome will update via mintupdate with the rest of your programs.
So yeah, you'll be notified when a new version is released and be able to upgrade like any other package.

ok thanks! ive been using firefox but i guess that chrome its a little faster , so im going to give it a try on linux
