Installing Dropbox
Now then, I'm looking to install Dropbox from the package manager and find two versions: nautilus-dropbox and nemo-dropbox. What's the difference and which should I choose?

Re: Installing Dropbox
If you are using Cinnamon 1.6 (default on Linux Mint 14, and on Linux Mint 13 if you have enabled backports) then you want nemo-dropbox. That integrates Dropbox with your Cinnamon file manager, Nemo.
If you are using another desktop environment, use the Dropbox package for your DE's file manager. (caja-dropbox for MATE's Caja; nautilus-dropbox for older versions of Cinnamon or for Gnome Shell's or Unity's Nautilus.)
