Load Partitions.

I have about three partitions in my hard disk (An equivalent of C: , D: and E: in windows).
I'm trying to load other partitions in my terminal but I cant seem to move past the root in linux.I'm running 14 Nadia n would love sme help with the command to load other partiotions.I've already tried googling it but all I can find is sme info on auto load during booft time.

The command is

mount -t type device dir


eg. If I had an ext4 partition /dev/sda2, and I wanted to mount it to /media/sda2 for access purposes, I'd run something like

sudo mount -t ext4 /dev/sda2 /media/sda2
