Adobe-flashplugin 11.2 is in the repository and can be installed from synaptic -
you don't need to use the terminal to install it.
go to Menu >Administration>synaptic It will ask you for your password enter it. then do a search for adobe-flashplugin and install it from there.
When the instruction say they want you to become root they are not talking about the root folder but in the terminal
you would enter
- Code: Select all
sudo rpm -Uvh (name of Program)
when you hit enter it will ask for your password and when you enter it it will give you temporary root/administrator privileges.
Also in order to install the program you have to be in the same folder where you downloaded it to.
so in this case it would be much easier install it using synaptic.
