After I've installed dual boot Linux Mint with Windows on my laptop and go into Linux Mint from the Grub2 Menu, the discrete GPU of mine get switched automatically which could cause overeheating and shut my laptop off. Since my laptop is hybrid laptop, do you know how to switch/use the integrated GPU ? FYI, I have read/google a lot about it but most of them tell to install AMD Catalyst Control Center, which I have tried 3x on Ubuntu but failed. Sometimes I wonder why I need to install AMD Catalyst Control Center if What I want is using the low power Integrated Intel CPU.

Look in the machine's BIOS to see if you can turn off the Radeon. If you don't know how to do that, read the manual that came with the machine.

Is there any other way that I could switch directly from the desktop rather than from BIOS?

I doubt it, but you should the manual for your machine.

Been having a lot of issues with my laptop overheating, too, recently (the fan has kaput), but it's 10 years old or close to it. Your computer's specifications lead me to believe that it is far newer than mine. Perhaps it is still under warranty? Even if it isn''t - but is still close to it - you might be able to get them to replace the fan with one that does its job if you ask them nicely. I know that some years ago I read about people with the same model of laptop I have, only with a graphics card in it, getting their laptops worked on for free even out of warranty because the manufacturer (HP) was so greedy that it was selling laptops in which the fans were so cheap that they were incapable of keeping the laptops from overheating.

I try to switch off the Discrete GPU through BIOS but there is no option for Integrated CPU under the Graphic Section that I want to use. The option is only 2 to choose for enable the GPU that is either Switchable Graphic or Discrete GPU. Do you have any idea?

No no. It's been 2.5 years and I think what you have just said is correct because I could remember when I got the overheating problem at the first day of the purchase.
