Postby binrat on Sat Mar 16, 2013 5:25 am

Hi i have just installed Mint KDE on my Dell XPS that has a screen res of 1920x1080 , I have managed to adjust most of the font sizes using system settings but for some reason both software manager and synaptic font size is still tiny , any one got any ideas how i can make them larger ? Thanx in advance.

Turn off sub-pixel rendering. It's in Application Appearance > Fonts, where you've been fiddling around.

Oh, ok. I usually leave the DPI alone and find that I have to turn off sub-pixel rendering because it makes some applications look terrible.

I'm glad you got it sorted.
